Inland Dredging work that I have been involved with has mostly been performed with no computer assistance as a normal part of a given marine construction project for pipeline burial and/or pile replacement. However I have completed projects where the primary and/or only focus of the project was dredging. Equipment utilized has included land based or barge mounted lattice boom cranes with clamshell and drag line buckets. As well as backhoes with open or environmentally sensitive buckets. Have completed material removal task for industrial water users by hydraulic means untilizing cutter head suction and horizontal auger head suction dredges such as Mudcat, Nessie, Pit Hog and IMS. I have also performed diver assisted hydraulic dredging.

Manager of Marine Environmental Services, a Minnesota based corporation, created to dredge navigational waterways in marinas, lakes and rivers. Personally designed and constructed a new generation dredge to defeat area dredging regulations implemented to discourage dredging by hydraulic and mechanical methods. MES's dredge utilized a positive displacement pump as a means to convey mechanically dredged materials over distances of up to 1500' via a steel pipeline. I was responsible for work permit applications, sales, equipment set up and daily field operations.

Have gained experience in dredging operations with the following companies:

Underwater Operations Company - Operations Manager
Marine Environmental Servieces - Manager
Vista Construction - Piling Superintendent
Townsend and Bottum - Diver Supervisor
Thatcher Engineering = Pile Driver
Industrial Builders - Lead Diver
Nuclear Utility Corporation - Diver
Lindahl Marine Contractors - Diver
